Solid Hardwood

3/4-inch solid hardwood planks in oak, maple, walnut, hickory, and specialty species. Sanded and finished in place. Best for grade-level installations over plywood subfloors where moisture conditions are stable.

Engineered Wood

Multi-layer construction with a hardwood wear layer over dimensionally stable core. The dominant commercial specification — installs over concrete, handles humidity fluctuations, available in wider planks, and floats over radiant heat.

Laminate

Photographic image layer over high-density fiberboard core. Appropriate for break rooms, back offices, and support spaces where wood aesthetics are desired at a lower material cost without lifecycle concerns.

Solid hardwood typically requires 5 to 7 days of acclimation at the project site. Engineered wood requires 2 to 5 days. The building's HVAC system must be running at normal operating conditions during acclimation. We build the acclimation period into the project schedule.
